This exciting game is growing in popularity and holds its advantages in that it is relatively low maintenance and that it is open to both genders. The academy introduces participants to the basics of the game as well as fundamental skills required such as how to catch and throw, how to score, interception methods as well as how to complete a pass. This is often accompanied with essential fitness training as well as emphasising the importance of warming-up and stretching. As with the soccer academy, a closing tournament is hosted to enable the participants to enjoy the game as well as apply their newly acquired skills. A closing ceremony is held to honour the participants’ hard work and commitment.
